Customer service numbers beginning with 902…….. cost much more than a normal call and are often charged by the second?
That the European Court has, today, ruled that these numbers are illegal?
That in Spain, despite the ruling, the 902 numbers are still used by many big airline companies, utility companies etc as a way of making money?
That FACUA, the Spanish consumer association, has a list of more than 70 companies defying the European ruling and continuing to use the 902 numbers, and that they are taking them to court?
That you can go to 902.com and find alternative numbers, which cost the same as a normal call?
Get wise to 902 numbers or you could find making an enquiry, complaint or any other customer service matter could seriously inflate your phone bill!!
Unfortunately, until Spain catches up with the judgement and declares the numbers illegal, in line with the European decision, and/or FACUA secures a ruling, some companies are continuing to use these numbers as a means of increasing their profits.
