Football fans have lent a help preerve and replant one of the prettiest and most emblematic natural areas of Calasparra.
Last week Real Madrid Fan Club members joined a “reforestation day” concentrated on the public footpath through the natural park.
First thing in the morning, the expedition set off for the Ribbon River Forests where they were met by the Technical Environmental Officer, Jose Moya del Amor, who outlined the activities of the day.
They planted 200 indigenous trees and were witness to the return of the galápago leproso (turtle) which has returned to the area following conservation work.
