The Town Hall has organised free consultations with a solicitor for people with mortgages that include the illegal “clausula suelo”.
The solicitor, Miguel Ángel Pouget Bastida will advise anyone affec ted by this illegal clause in their mortgage contract on Thursday February 9 at the Youth Centre Between 12 midday and 2 pm and 3.30pm to to 6.30pm.
Make an appointment at the OMIC ( Consumer Advice Office) in the Town Hall.
Various banks, including Bankia, have agreed to voluntarily refund monies paid under this clause with interest. However, clients continue to find to difficult to negotiate with their banks. This is an opportunity to get free legal advice if you are affected.
Bring your mortgage contract and an interpreter, just in case.
